14 Educational Stocking Stuffer Ideas

What do you do for stocking stuffers?  Do you have tried-and-true traditions?  Candy?  Socks?  Small, novelty gifts?  Gift cards?  It’s true, that size has a lot to do with what you can and can’t put in a stocking.  But that doesn’t mean big things can’t come in your stocking.  One year I was supposed to be getting an MP3 player (yes, I’m telling my age – this was back in the day before iPods!)  All the gifts had been opened and no MP3 player.  :/  My dad claims he could see disappointment all over my face.  Then it was time to raid our stockings – we always did them last.  And guess what was in my stocking?  An MP3 player.  Dad did it on purpose because he knew that if it were in the stocking I wouldn’t be expecting it and would think that I wasn’t getting it.

Mostly what I put in Bug’s stocking is little stuff.  Character band-aids are always a big hit in stockings!
