So how did coffee become so popular?
According to legend, a sixth-century Ethiopian goatherd discovered his goats frolicking from one coffee shrub to another. He realized the coffee berries had a stimulating effect. He began to experiment with the seeds. A whole century later, brewed coffee was developed in Arabia. Other sources say it only goes back as far as the 13th century but regardless, once it was discovered, the popularity of coffee grew exponentially!

Lamar’s Coffee – free coffee and a free coffee mug. You’ll need to visit the LaMar’s Facebook page to have this offer emailed to you. Follow the instructions to receive your free 12-ounce cup of coffee and free coffee mug, while supplies last. Lamar’s has 26 stores in six states.
The Original Brooklyn Water Bagel Co.® – receive a FREE Cold Brewsta with the purchase of any menu item on Tuesday, September 29, 2015.
Throughout the month of September, you can also get a 12 oz. cup of HOT, freshly roasted artisan coffee for only $1 on Monday through Friday from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Please note that these offers are limited to one coffee per customer and will last all day or until supplies last at participating locations. Whole Foods – Customers can get a cup coffee for just 25 cents! The coffee purchase could help support a good cause. If you buy an Allegro Coffee for a quarter, Whole Foods will donate $1 to the Whole Planet Foundation. This has been (and will continue to be) going on all month.
