Make a Summer Bucket List with your Kids | Craft + Ideas
Bug and I sat down and made a list of things we wanted to do this summer. And then we made a visual reminder of our goals!
Here’s our Summer Bucket List!
I used this bucket image and printed it off on colored paper and cut them out.
Don’t know what to put on your list? Here are 15 ideas:
- Pack a picnic and take it to a scenic spot (or just the local park!)
- Set up a campsite in your back yard. Sleeping bags, tents if you have them, watch the stars and roast marshmallows over a fire (or the grill, or a candle, LOL). Even if you don’t sleep out the whole night, it will still be fun!
- Zoo or Aquarium
- Museums (Art, History or Science – we are fortunate to live near all three!)
- A trip to the Splash Pad (or make your own “splash pad” at home)
- Paint (my son loves to paint – so promising him a whole day where can have access to all his paints and the kitchen table ALL DAY to “create” is a big deal to him)
- Go to a drive in movie
- Have a special movie night at home.
- Bake cookies
- Visit the fire station (bonus points for taking them fresh baked cookies!)
- Visit a Farmer’s Market
- Go to a U-pick farm.
- Visit historical sites or landmarks in your own hometown!
- Go Bowling (check out Kids Bowl Free for free games in the summer!)
- Find a FREE factory tour! (I live near Blue Bell, Golden Flake and Bud’s Best cookies and they all offer FREE tours – YUM!)
What would you put on your summer bucket list?
