We went to a event at Lifeway Christian Stores where we got to see the new movie in the store with some snacks and crafts. Then to my delight, VeggieTales sent us a copy of the movie so we could tell you all about it! (Because, do you have any idea how hard it is to watch a movie in a store?) I was happy to watch it again (and again) in the comfort of my own living room.
This is the story that after 20 years of watching VeggieTales (yes, they’ve been around that long…probably longer) I had almost given up on them doing. (They tried to pass with MINNESOTA CUKE & THE SEARCH FOR NOAH’S UMBRELLA
So, yay for finally doing Noah’s Ark! I will say, I’m not a fan of the new animation. I like the old style better. Bug hasn’t seemed to notice the change. He watches the new VeggieTales in the House show on Netflix which has wildly different animation as well as the older ones (which I still love greatly) and he hasn’t said anything about them looking different. (We’ve also seen VeggieTales Live several times so maybe he’s just used to them taking different forms…)
They took some liberties with the story – it’s not near as true to life as say, Daniel in the Lions Den from WHERE’S GOD WHEN I’M SCARED
If you want to add VeggieTales: Noahs Ark
Big thanks to VeggieTales and Big Idea for sending us a copy of the DVD. I was not paid for my review. This post does contain affiliate links and I love it when you click on them! ;)
