Let me introduce you to my favorite new accessory!  It’s my new JORD Wood Watch!   You’ve never heard of wooden watches?  Yeah, neither did I until just a couple weeks ago.  But once I found out what it was, I had to have one.  JORD has taken beautiful wood (yes, wood) and created gorgeous watches in styles made from Maple, Cherry, Bamboo and more.

My watch is the Sully in Cherry. It’s a tad bigger than I thought it would be. In hindsight, I might have preferred the Ely in Cherry. But I do like that the Sully has numbers on the face of it.  I have had to get used to wearing a watch again – I haven’t worn a watch in years.  I’ve become one of those people who relies on their phone for time.  I didn’t mean too.  I just did.  But I like wearing a watch – it’s a functional accessory.  It’s just a matter of finding the right watch.

They have a beautiful watch called Cora with a turquoise face – it’s lovely!  

But is it comfortable?  I know, I know, it’s made of wood.  But really, it is comfortable!  In fact, it’s more comfortable than some other watches I’ve worn – those metal link bands can pinch and scratch!  The wood watch is surprisingly smooth and lightweight!

And did I mention how beautifully it’s packaged?  When I opened my package, I had to take a moment to appreciate it!  Yes – that picture to the right is my watch.  That’s how it came to me.  Doesn’t it make you feel special to get something so nicely packaged?
