The ATTITUDE contaminant free laundry detergent and fabric softener I told you about earlier this week also comes in fragrance free! Although I have to say that the Pear Nectar scent is not overwhelming at all and ATTITUDE using only natural fragrances. BUT if fragrance is a no-go for you, know that it comes fragrance fee!

When I think baby laundry detergent I automatically think Dreft. It’s what I used when Bug was a baby. It’s sold at Babies ‘R Us for use on baby laundry so I thought it was free of anything that would be harmful to baby. How deceiving a pretty pink bottle with a little baby on the front is! I looked up Dreft ingredients online, they are (just to name a few):
Linear Alkyl Benzene Sulfonate
Ethanol process aid
A lot of these ingredients are listed as “surfactants”. Wikipedia defines surfactants as compounds that lower the surface tension (or interfacial tension) between two liquids or between a liquid and a solid. Surfactants may act as detergents, wetting agents, emulsifiers, foaming agents, and dispersants.

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
