Rumor: Amazon Prime Price Increasing?

I don’t know how true this is, but there are rumors that an Amazon Prime membership is going to go up, substantially.  If you’ve been debating on a membership, now might be a good time to get it!  If you’ve never tried the one month free trial, you can do that too.  Plus, keep reading and I will tell you how to make sure you are not charged at the end of your trial should you decide you won’t want to keep the membership (super easy, takes 10 seconds…)

Amazon offers FREE Super Saver Shipping when you spend $35 or more on qualifying items.  But what if you want something that isn’t $35?  Well, you can get FREE 2-Day shipping with an Amazon Prime membership.   An Amazon Prime membership costs $79 year but if you’ve never been a member or previously done a free trial, here is how to get one AND set it to NOT renew so you won’t be charged when it’s over.

Here’s how to get your FREE Amazon Prime Trial without being charged after the trial is over:

Sign up for your free trial here:  free trial of Amazon Prime Then before your trial is up, go to your account page (it’s at the top right hand side of the page when you’re logged in) Scroll down the page to your account settings where it says “manage prime membership”. Click there and you will see an option to have it renew automatically or not. Just set it NOT to renew.  You can do this right after you sign up so you don’t have to remember later!!

Easy as pie. It only works if you’ve never been a Prime member. And while you’re a prime member, be sure to take advantage of the TV shows and movies you can stream for free and Kindle books you can borrow for free.

Here’s what a reader said:    ” FANTASTIC! I always get caught by forgetting to cancel the membership and then I get stuck paying for it. I like that I can do the free trial and not have to remember to cancel. Thanks for the tip!”
