Ever heard anyone say they didn’t love bacon? Of course not! They even created vegetarian bacon because Everybody. Loves. Bacon. Throughout the month of January, Winn-Dixie is celebrating everyone’s favorite food with bacon sampling, bacon recipes, and bacon sales.

Aside from just eating bacon as it is, this is my FAVORITE recipe using bacon!
Bacon Wrapped Baked Chicken
Ingredients:
Boneless/Skinless Chicken Tenderloins (I used the bagged frozen kind from Winn-Dixie)
Bacon Slices (thick cut work best)
Cream of Chicken Soup
1 Cup of Sour Cream
Green Onions (optional)
Directions:
1. Wrap chicken in bacon slices (1 slice per piece of chicken) and place in baking dish
2. Mix cream of chicken soup and 1 cup of sour cream in a bowl and pour over chicken.
3. Cover with foil and bake at 350 degrees for 1-2 hours (depending on thickness of chicken).
4. Top with green onions before serving. Totally optional but it took the dish to a whole new level!
I’m cooking for two and a half people so I didn’t use very many pieces of chicken. You can easily double the amount of chicken (and bacon slices) with the same amount of soup and sour cream.
