We decided to dress up as a family for Halloween this year. And it didn’t take long to decide who we would be! Bug already had a classic pirate costume and a Captain Hook hand – so he’s going to be his favorite character from his favorite movie! The next step was talking Hubs into being Peter Pan – which was easier than I thought it would be! So with that plan in place, it only leaves MY costume… If I’m going to be trick-or-treating with Peter Pan and Captain Hook then I need to be Tinkerbell!
I was worried that finding an adult Tinkerbell costume was going to be a problem. Many adult costumes, especially women’s, are not something I want to prance around the neighborhood in with my three year old in tow.
I was excited to find the perfect costume on Anytime Costumes! They have a Tinkerbell costume that makes me feel like I should be in a Disney movie and not one they keep on the top shelf at the video store. Fortunately, I am a short person, so the skirt comes to almost my knees. The material is very thin so I will definitely have to wear some tights and a tank top underneath. Hopefully it won’t be too cold on Halloween (I live in the Deep South so you never know. It could be 40 or 70…).
As for pictures of ME in the costume. You’ll have to wait until Halloween! I’m so excited to be dressing up as a family! I’ll be sure to post pictures of us in our costumes on Twitter and Facebook so you can see!
Thanks to Anytime Costumes for providing me with a costume to review. I received no other compensation. All words and opinions are my own!
