Here is my first officially packed box for Operation Christmas Child! This is a box for a 5-9 year old boy. Here’s a quick rundown of what he will find inside:
- coloring books
- t shirt
- puzzle
- stuffed dog
- story books
- crayons, pens, pencils, sharpener, ruler
- toothbrush, toothpaste
- soap, washcloth
- stickers
- Thomas the Train whistle
- small slinky, magnifying glass, spinning top and a couple small bouncy balls, yo-yo and small paddle ball, mini golf game toy
- candy
And here’s a picture of it all packed in there:
This one is packed to the brim…I can’t squeeze another thing in their edgewise. Which is the way I like to pack my boxes. When I think about how this is the only gift a child may receive, possibly in their whole lifetime, I don’t want to skimp. I don’t want to leave empty space in the box.
I have two more boxes pack – stay tuned to see those. And once I can put my hands on a few more shoeboxes, I can divvy up the rest of my items. I may have all I need for my goal of 6 shoeboxes (maybe more!)
I hope you’ll consider couponing to OCC!
