I Spent $18.75 at Yard Sales today!

Here’s my haul from about a dozen different yard sales today!   I spent $18.75 on everything!

Highlights:

Brand new Flower Picture Frame $1 (using for a gift!)

Brand new Kid’s Scrapbooking Set $2 (using for a gift!)

Brand new tennis shoes for Bug, cute flipflops for me and a pair of kickin’ red heels! $1 a piece

Brand new pack of Melissa & Doug 10 Jumbo Triangular Chalk Sticks $1

Learning Resources Teaching Cash Register $2 (that’s a $50 toy!!)

Wagon – $2

Brand new tablecloth – $1

And, I discovered that the secret to a good yard sale deal is to take a cute kid with you.  People were giving stuff to Bug.  He would pick something up and say something cute and they would say, “Oh, he’s so cute!  He can just have that.”  LOL.  So Bug racked up on a matchbox car, a football, a Learning Resources Pretend and Play Teaching Telephone and linking toys for FREE!
