Monday’s Money Saving Recipe – Italian Parmesan Chicken

Okay, this recipe is total easy and I used a mix so I am totally cheating.  But if you haven’t tried the Kraft Fresh Take mixes yet, you totally should.

There’s almost always a coupon out for them (right now you can get a$0.75/1 Kraft Fresh Take Cheese & Breadcrumb Mix printable and a $0.50/1 Kraft Fresh Take Cheese & Breadcrumb Mix printable – and these may double depending on your store).  So with a sale and coupon I’ve paid between $1 and $1.50 for these.

I used frozen chicken tenderloins from Winn-Dixie.  I used about half a bag.  I buy these when they are on sale buy one get one free.  So I pay $10.99 for 2 bags.   I used half a bag here.  So that’s $2.75 for chicken.  Since that’s all this recipe requires, I spent $4.75.  And it made enough chicken for us to have TWICE!

Basically, you open the Fresh Take Bag, toss the chicken in and shake.  Put it in a baking dish and bake.

Look at that yummy deliciousness:

And let me tell you, it was fabulous!  It got the Hubs seal of approval for goodness, my seal of approval for ease and I cut a piece up into little chunks and told Bug it was chicken nuggets and gave him ketchup and he ate it, so I guess it gets his seal of approval too!
