With UPS My Choice I get alerted when my package is scheduled to arrive. I have other options too, like rerouting my package to another location or having it delivered at a later date. (I’m kind of hoping I get a package delivery notification while we’re on vacation, just so I can reschedule to have it delivered after we return!)
