Money-Saving Tip – Reusing Take-Out, To-Go and Deli containers!

When it comes to saving money, no amount is too small. When you find a money saving tip that works for you, run with it! All those little savings add up!

Today’s tip is to save and reuse containers from restaurants and delis and such for packing lunches in!

When Hubs and I ate at Olive Garden for our anniversary, I noticed something on our take out containers that I’ve never noticed before – dishwasher and microwave safe!  Wha-? Awesome!

Hubs takes leftovers to work to eat and sometimes he forgets to bring the containers home when he’s done.  This solves the problem since they were FREE anyway!  (And believe it or not, he remembers to bring these home more than he does the other ones!  I have no idea why!)

The clear containers are from the grocery store deli that contained sub sandwiches and wraps.  They can be rinsed clean and reused again for sandwiches, or like I packed above, hot dogs for Hubs to take to work.  I put the hot dogs in a plastic baggie first, and put them in the container with two buns and added condiment packets on top!

I love that I can reuse all these containers!  What containers do you reuse?
