Operation Christmas Child Shoebox Update

  I have not had time to update you on my progress but I have still be collecting for the Operation Christmas Child Shoeboxes.  I have about a month to finish them up.  (You can read more about Operation Christmas Child and how I’m couponing for it this year.  My goal is to do 6 boxes at less than $10/box, which includes the $7 shipping donation per box).

Here’s some things I got at the end of summer.  The flip flops were $0.49 each on clearance at Walgreens.  The pens, pencils and hair elastics were all free.  I think the glue sticks were $0.25 each.

So total for everything in this picture was $1.48.  Add that to my last total and I am at $5.28 for everything you see in this box:
