I love that show. I think a lot of Extreme Couponers have gotten a bad wrap from a few bad apples. However, I like when I see episodes where the couponers are extreme shopping to give back to charity or because they’re trying to support their families. Having worked for a charity that depends on extreme shoppers to donate in a large quantities, I truly say that if these couponers weren’t allowed to shop like they do we would have been up a creek because the community we helped really needed access to a food pantry and clothing closet.
I wish people would stop judging all couponers in a negative light because of a few aren’t being legit.
Unfortunately, as long as they allow fraud and bending the rules on the show, it’s going to make us all look bad.
I saw it last night and was surprised at the lady in North Carolina that wiped out the energy bars for her son’s team…another person walked up to get some and she didn’t even offer to share. I think that is when it becomes a little ridiculous…when there is nothing left for anyone else.
On a good note, I would love to save 1/2 of what some of the people on the show do.
