Couponing 101 – part 2: Where to get coupons

To be a successful couponer, you want to make sure you have a wide variety of coupons.  You want to try to find every available coupon to keep in your “stash” for when that item goes on sale.

Here are places to get coupons:

Sunday Newspaper Inserts

-I recommend getting at least four copies of the Sunday paper.  You can start with two copies to get you started but you’ll see the most savings when you get four.

Online

-Coupon sites (legitimate ones are Coupons.com, Redplum.com, Smartsource.com and CouponNetwork.com

-product, manufacturer or store’s website 

Coupon Clipping Service

All You Magazine

Mailed to you directly from the Manufacturer or the Store

          –contacting companies

-signing up for store clubs

-signing up at product websites

At the store

          -peelies

          -tearpads

          -blinkies

          -catalinas (printed at the register)

          -CRT “cash register tape” coupons printed at the end of your receipt
