Clickity-Clack, Thomas is back in exciting, engine-packed adventures! Thomas and his friends are preparing for the Railway Inspector’s visit to Knapford Station. But when the coal trucks crash, covering Gordon in soot, can Thomas take charge and help straighten out the mess? Find out as Thomas charges full steam ahead into fun!
The thing I love most about Thomas and Friends DVDs is that they teach good life lessons. The trains make mistakes and learn from them or the get into situations where they have to make the right choices to get themselves out of it.
My favorite episode in this one was O The Indignity. Which, if you watch a lot of Thomas, you know that that is Gordon’s “phrase”. He is a mighty, proud engine that pulls the express and loathes anything he deems below him (that’s not “dignified”, he says.) So when he is the only engine available to take the place of broken-down Scruff at the garbage dump, he is mortified. “Scrunching garbage” is definitely beneath him! So every time an engine arrives at the dump with garbage, Gordon hides. As a result, none of the work gets done and Sir Topham Hatt is very cross with Gordon because that day, the work at the dump was the most important work on Sodor! Gordon learns that to be a “really useful engine” you must do the work you are given whether you think it’s “dignified” or not!
