I just found an organization called Care Packages for our Troops and their Families, who put together care packages to send overseas to soldiers and their families who are living on overseas bases.
They are collecting coupons to help offset the cost of the items in the care packages. They currently spend $150-$200/month on items to go in care packages. With coupons, they can stretch this amount further.
They can use any kinds of coupons:
- Cleaning supply coupons for care packages for the medical units
- Dog food, treats and toy coupons for the K-9 units
- Snack, drink mix and hygiene item coupons for the soldiers
They also send coupons of ALL kinds in the care packages going to the families on base for them to use at the stores on the base. The great thing about overseas bases, is that coupons can be as much as 6 months expired and still be usuable!
So if you want to start sending your expired coupons (instead of just throwing them away!) to help our troops you can send them to:

You do not have to sort your coupons prior to sending. They will handle that. Also, try not to send coupons that are past 3 months expired. We want to allow time for sorting and shipping and have them still be usable when they reach their destination!
