I always wanted a bunk bed when I was younger but I never got one. I’d love to get Bug a set of bunk beds when he gets a little older. They are great for sleepovers! I was looking at kids bunk beds at Cymax stores – wow, have they come a long way since I was a kid! They have bunk beds that have little nooks or benches and even tents underneath! I also saw bunk beds built to look like dollhouses, castles and a even a firehouse! Oh, Bug would love a firehouse bunk bed! And did you know they make bunk beds with SLIDES? For real!
I love the bunk beds that have all the built-in storage drawers – it’s like they double as dressers which is great for saving space! And talking about saving space, check out the bunk beds with built in desks! Those would be great for tweens, teens or college dorm rooms. I even saw some full size loft beds with desk space underneath. We have a full size bed! I wonder if Hubs would be up to replacing our bed with a loft so I could have desk space underneath? Probably not, right? :)
