I was in Walgreen’s today and I was looking at the Children’s Oscicilloccium deal (I probably spelled that wrong but I don’t feel like looking it up – but it’s free after RR fyi). I decided to pass on it because it’s something that we really wouldn’t use (I mean, make a 2 year old hold those little pellets in his mouth til they dissolve…you’ve got to be kidding me…)
But, we do love the Children’s Chestal cough syrup. I don’t remember seeing it in the ad, but the sale tag (which was dated this week) said on sale for $3.99 with $3 RR. And all the boxes at my Walgreen’s had $1 peelies on them! Sweet! FREE cough syrup!!
Well, (and I didn’t realize this until I was almost out the door) it rang up $6.99 and I didn’t get any RR. :(
The line at the register was pretty long so I scanned to store to see if I could find the manager and I did. I told him what the shelf said and he (without even looking to see if was right/wrong/telling the truth/delusional, he refunded me $3+tax for it ringing up wrong. Then grabbed something off the shelf that was supposed to print $3RR, rang it up and gave me the RR coupon. WOW! I felt like I needed a Staples button – That was EASY!
Dear Walgreens, I apologize for every mean thing I’ve said about you out loud, under my breath and on the blog. You have redeemed yourself.
So, anyway, keep your eyes peeled for the deal and make sure it goes through right for you! We can always use FREE cought syrup!
And sorry for the weird picture. For some reason, blogger automatically rotates some of my pictures when I upload them and I can’t figure out how to unrotate it.
