This was a terrible week to have RR to burn at Walgreens. Does anyone dislike how quickly RR expire? (2 weeks versus 1 month with CVS ECBs). When you get RR from Walgreens you have to pray for a decent sale the next week to use them!
Anyway, I made the best of it.
- Brown ‘N Serve Sausage – $1.29 (it was 99c a couple weeks ago and I stocked up. My 2 year old LOVES these things!)
- Biotrue Contact Solution – $8.99 (two contact lens wearers in the house…)
- Mitchum – $1.99 after in-ad coupon (I’m not brand picky on most things, but this deodorant works the best for me so I stick to it!)
- Rephresh Brilliant Tampons – $4.99
- Ramen Noodles – 3/$1 (Hubs is sick and this is the only thing he wants when he’s sick…)
Coupons:
- $1.50 off Biotrue
- FREE Rephresh Tampons (-$4.99 taken off)
- RR: $5, $3 and $2
Total: $1.77
RR: $2 (from Biotrue)
=23c profit!
Since Alabama has stupid tax laws, I had to pay tax on pre-coupon price ($1.83) so I really spent $3.60 but for the purposes of totaling up deals, I always leave the tax off since it varies from place to place. I want to reflect the actual cost of the items.)
