Walgreens is doing super jingle cash this week. You get $5 jingle cash (register rewards) for every $25 you spend in a single transaction (up to $100 – limit of $20 RR can be earned in one transaction). The jingle cash/RR can only be redeemed NEXT week. The amount you earn is based on total AFTER coupons (but before tax). I learned this the hard way and will be returning some toys to bring my $66 subtotal down to $52. Still earned $10 RR but spent less OOP. If I decide I do really need the toys I can always buy them back with a box of diapers to give me $25 to earn more jingle cash.
So, if you want to make the jingle cash really work for you on some Christmas gifts (or other large items you might need) check out the rebates Walgreens has this week.
For example, the Phillips Docking Entertainment System is $59.99. You would get $10 Jingle Cash and a rebate form for $10. Making your total for the system only $39.99!
The digital ear or temple thermometers would only be $14.99 after Jingle Cash and rebate!
There is a Fujifilm Finepix digital camera that is on sale this week for $79.99. You would get $15 RR back on your purchase. Making the camera only $64.99!
Just remember the Walgreens rules. Item count must exceed coupon count for offers to print with your purchase.
It was before coupons for me (I did several transactions at diff stores on diff days).
I got $20 RR to spend next week and paid $7 OOP bc I bought several Bayer Blood meters and had the $20 off coupons. Only paid tax!
