What was in your mailbox today?
I got two rebate checks totaling $12.99 and a media survey with $2 cash inside with a promise of $5 more if I complete the survey!
How many times have you ever opened your mailbox to find $15?? :)
This reminds me of something important you need to know. The survey comes in an plain envelope with “Arbitron Ratings” on the outside with one little graphic on the outside that says “Your Opinion Counts”. Now if you weren’t interested in taking a survey, you would be likely to just throw this piece of mail away, right? You would’ve thrown away CASH! I have had surveys like this come with as much as $5 in cash in them!) It’s important to open EVERY piece of mail you get, even if it’s just to glance inside the envelope.
