What to do with expired coupons…

Did you know that military families can use coupons six months to a year past their expiration date at commissaries on military bases and abroad?  And since prices can be very high at overseas bases, these coupons are a welcomed blessing!

Stockpiling Mom’s wrote this great article on how they’ve helped and where they send their coupons.

And YOU can help too by sending your expired coupons to them!   It’s been recommended to not send coupons more than three months expired to allow for shipping and processing times and to allow the families time to use them.

You can check with your local American Legion Auxiliary to see if they have a coupon program where they send the coupons to the families.  Or you can just send yours to the Legion that Stockpiling Moms use at:

American Legion Auxiliary Unit 450
450 Victor Stier Dr.
Milford, OH 45150

What a great way to support our troops and help out their families!
