Alright, here’s another update on the $70 I have to spend on groceries for the rest of July.
My first two purchases left me with $60.56 to spend.
I had a lot of CVS extra bucks and I’m probably going to kick myself next week for blowing $11 ECBs on a blah week sale. But here’s what I got:
- 2 Head and Shoulders shampoos (the ECB deal was limit 1 but I had a BOGO coupon. So I got 2 for $2.99 which wasn’t bad since we were low on shampoo and like Head and Shoulders)
- Pepto Bismol (this was a necessary purchase because we’ve been out. Had a coupon and got 1 ECB back)
- Diet Coke (used a coupon!)
- 2 Hershey’s with Almonds and a Reese Cup (I had a moment of weakness. They were B2G1 this week and the Reese was for my husband.)
Final cost after all coupons and 11 ECBs used: $1.90
Got $3 ECBs back.
What’s left in the budget? $58.66!
