Monday’s Money Saving Recipe – Tin Foil Dinners

I made these last night!  Hubby LOVES them!

You need:

Hamburger Patties
Butter
Aluminum Foil

and any of the following that you want to use:
Potatoes (I like to use Red or New Potatoes but Russet and Idaho work too)
Onion
Bellpepper
Tomatoes

Roll out a piece of aluminum foil (big enough to wrap the hamburger patty)
Spread a little butter and place patty on top
Season meat as desired
Top with slices of your choice of vegetables (I always season the potatoes too)
Put a small pat of butter on top
Wrap up

Do this for as many patties as you want to use.

Bake at 450 degrees for about 20 minutes.

You can also do this with boneless, skinless chicken breasts and vegetables like broccoli, zucchini, and carrots.  You might have to increase the cook time depending on the size and thickness of the chicken.
