Daily Inspiration – Be all There

She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come.
I came across a great post at Life As Mom.  As mom’s, there is a myth that we are supposed to be able to everything simultaneously all the time.  They call it multi-tasking.  But at times it feels like we are expected to be Wonder Woman.
So you may be good at multi-tasking, but how many things are you “all there” for?  Because when we multi-task, something doesn’t get our full attention.
This article was timely for me.  Because last week, I abandoned my to-do list in favor of spending several wonderful summer afternoons outside with my son.  I didn’t get as much done around the house as I wanted/needed to.  But what’s more important?  I know, my son is.  But it’s still hard to shake the “Wonder Mom” guilt of not getting everything done.
Now I feel validated, knowing that it’s more important to “Be All There”.
