Monday’s Money Saving Recipe – Catalina Chicken

Leave your favorite recipe here for a chance to WIN a set of cute recipe cards!  Giveaway ends May 18!!
Here is a very frugal, simple, yummy recipe!
Catalina Chicken
  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breast halves (use the halves because they don’t take as long to cook – can also use the frozen, bagged chicken breasts)
  • 1 bottle Catalina (or French) dressing (it’s the red kind – I always grab an extra bottle for about $1.48 at Aldi!)
  • 1 packed dry onion soup mix
  •  1 can mushrooms (optional)

Place chicken breasts in baking dish.  Season with garlic salt and pepper.  Sprinkle packet of soup on top.  Add mushrooms (if using).  Pour dressing on top.
Bake 400 degrees for about 45 minutes (or until chicken is done)

That’s it!  :)

And for some reason, we always have green beans with this dish.  It goes well!
