Tis the season to give right?? But I know times are tough for a lot of us and it’s hard enough just to be able to give your family let alone to others. Did you know you can help a variety of cause with just a click of your mouse??
The internet is full of Web sites that let you contribute to a charitable cause simply by clicking your mouse. Here are some of the most popular sites.
The Breast Cancer Site.com
Click on the big pink button on the main page. You can click once a day, every day. Each click helps fund mammograms for women who cannot afford them. Last year they funded 3,315 mammograms.
Free Rice.com
The site shows you a word and asks you to pick the correct synonym from a list. For each right answer, the site donates 10 grains of rice through the U.N. World Food Programme. Help others and exercise your vocabulary!
Good Search.com
Donates to your charity of choice every time you use their search engine.
Stop Violence. Care2.com
Click on the donate button and the site’s sponsors will donate to Amnesty International’s Stop Violence Against Women campaign.
