Santa’s Wonderland at Bass Pro Shops is OPEN for 2018

Santa Claus is Coming to Town!  He has arrived at your local Bass Pro Shops.

“Santa’s Wonderland” is a 3,500-square foot Christmas village chocked full of fun games, activities  and crafts for the whole family at Bass Pro Shops every year!

“Santa’s Wonderland” has become a Christmas tradition for us!  You should consider making it a tradition for yours!

The village offers an old-time model train area, Lincoln Log building areas, a video game station, arcade, slot car racing and/or remote control car racing and more activities!  (I don’t know if there is one at every store, but ours even has a carousel with free rides!)  There’s an activity table where they can write a letter to Santa, color  and do fun crafts every day of the week.  And it’s completely FREE!

Always a family tradition, customers can get a free 4×6 studio-quality photo with Santa. Photo and gift packages will  also be available.

Be sure to check the official schedule for your store for store hours, craft hours and more information.

Of course, everyone wants to see the jolly guy in red and Bass Pro Shops tries to make it as headache free as possible.

Here is the advice my local Bass Pro Shops posted on Facebook to help you score face time with the big guy while avoiding meltdowns from the kiddos:

HOW TO SEE SANTA
First, let us say that a photo with Santa at Bass Pro Shops is a special annual event. Thousands of families participate in this event each year and, with a little pre-planning, your visit to Santa’s Wonderland will provide you and your family with a lifetime of wonderful memories. Here are a few tips to make your Santa’s Wonderland experience a magical time.

Since Bass Passes go very quickly we advise that you arrive early on the day you want a photo taken with Santa. The Bass Pass Ticket Depot will be open 30 minutes prior to Santa’s official arrival that day and a Bass Pass line usually forms earlier than that.

Weeknights are the best times with nights in November the best times to see Santa. That gives you time to order extra photos and/or holiday cards for gift giving. Please note that Santa will be here at 10 AM on Wednesday, Thursday & Friday, November 21-23 (Yes. Santa is here on Thanksgiving morning!).

If you have children who are not in school, Santa begins arriving at 10 AM on weekdays beginning December 3 – 21. This is an excellent time to visit Santa’s Wonderland with infants and/or toddlers.

If you are traveling a long distance and are only able to visit Santa’s Wonderland on a Saturday or Sunday, please consider arriving here as early in the day as you can as we are unable to put Bass Passes on hold. Again, pre-planning is key in making this a magical experience for you and your family.
