We all want to teach our children the importance of sharing with others. Veggies in Space provides teachable moments to remind the little ones: when you have enough to spare, you have enough to share!
The VeggieTales Crew is back at it again in Veggies in Space: The Fennel Frontier. Combining the adventure of space travel with a lesson in sharing, Bob and Larry play their most out-of-this-world characters yet: Mr. Spock and Captain Cuke.
Join them as they embark on a space adventure to bravely travel where no Veggie has gone yet. The entire USS Applepies crew takes on Luntar the Looter, a power stealing space pirate, but they’re in for a big surprise when they find out just why he needs the energy.
My little guy was hooked at the words “space” and “pirate”. His little all-things-pirate-loving self looked at me and said, “You mean there are pirates in outerspace?” :)
I think the lesson in this DVD is solid especially at his age (he’s 5). Sharing is SO hard for little kids and if they don’t learn it when they are little it becomes harder when they are older.
