I wish I could say that this is some elaborate, multi-step project and you need to read the whole post to find out how to do it perfectly. But honestly, the picture speaks for itself.
You need:
- a box
- something to cut the box with
- masking tape
- a room with some floorspace (if you’ve seen my house recently, you’ll know that this was the hardest part of the instructions)
I wasn’t feeling well one morning and Bug wanted to go outside, he wanted to paint, he wanted to do playdough. He wanted to do all these things that I couldn’t muster up the energy to do. I honestly just wanted him to watch TV and be quiet so my head would stop pounding. I did the best I could and he was being about as good as a 3 year old could be and finally after lunch, I promised him that if he would go get in his bed and take his nap without fussing I would have a surprise for him when he woke up. He cooperated.
I got a box I had been saving, cut the flaps off and made two openings.
I made a tape road on the floor.
I arranged some cars and signs.
I took a nap. :)
He was pleased when he woke up. He played beautifully. :)
