First, I am not Mooyah Burgers nor am I affiliated with them in any way. You’ve left a comment on my blog that Mooyah will never see.

Second, it was quite clearly listed in the details that this was first come, first served until they ran out.

The information I was given to share (which is all printed in the blog post that you left your comment on) very clearly stated the stipulations:

In-restaurant orders only. Online ordering will be turned off on 10/10 for participating locations.
One free MOOYAH Double Cheeseburger per person. Must be present to get free burger.
We’ll have burgers for a minimum of 500 Guests at each participating location. No rainchecks if we run out.
Absolutely no substitutions or modifications to the MOOYAH Double Cheeseburger: Potato Bun, Half Pound Certified Angus Beef, American Cheese, Lettuce, Tomato, MOOYAH Sauce.
No other menu items will be available to order this day. That’s right, no other burgers, fries, or salads. Today we’re only serving MOOYAH Double Cheeseburgers our way, Personal Hand-Cut Fries, Vanilla, Chocolate or Strawberry Little MOO Shakes and Regular Drinks.
We’ll take the last order at 8pm or while supplies last. You’re welcome to stay and enjoy your burger after 8pm.

Well this was disappointing! I took my son to enjoy the burger at 7pm and our location was closed because they ran out of burgers! It’s no fun when kids have the mind set on a certain food then they can’t get it. Instead of closing when you run out, how about offering to sell shakes and fries and salads with a rain check for the free burger to get us back in on another day? Now we are not having good thoughts about your store whereas the other scenario we would be disappointed but thankful for the alternate plan.

Not impressed at all, you advertise free burgers all day. We show up there at 4:30 p.m. and the doors are locked. My boys are looking forward to this my youngest had to finish his homework before he was able to go, he was very upset to see your store was closed when we got there. Not sure I will be spending my money in your restaurant again anytime soon. And for now the other comments I’ve heard from other people they won’t either unless you make this right.
