I’ve gotten THREE rebate checks in the mail this week. WooHoo!
I used to be the kind that would see a product with a mail-in-rebate offer and I would buy the product but I would lose the receipt, throw away the UPC, let the offer expire, you know, all those things the manufacturer would like for you to do when you buy the product so that they get you to buy the product and they walk away with the profit.
However, I am not that kind of person anymore!
Here are my rebates:
$2.99 rebate on Palmolive Pure and Clean dish detergent. (This rebate offer is no longer available)
$3.29 for new Gerber yogurt blends (this rebate offer came from a peelie on the actual pack of yogurt. These are located in the baby food aisle NOT the refrigerated section. The offer is good until sometime in 2010 – I think March – and I still see packs with the peelie on them so keep your eyes open for them)
$11.50 from Caregiver’s Marketplace
The Caregiver’s Marketplace is a cash-back program that offers cash back on a variety of products. My rebates were for Balmex Diaper Rash Cream ($1) and Huggies Snug & Dry Diapers (75c/per pack x 14 packs). You should really check into it if you have children, or you are a diabetic or elderly or care for someone who is. Those are they type products you can get rebates on. All you have to do is save your receipts (no UPCs required), purchase at least 5 products, fill out the form and send it in with your receipts. And it only took about 4 weeks for me to get my rebate.
So, all total I got $17.78 in rebates. I’m going to add that to my November grocery budget since it was all rebates on things I purchased out of previous month’s grocery budget.
