I just put the product name and the numbers they ask for in the comment box here https://www.mcneilproductrecall.com/page.jhtml?id=/include/contact.inc
and told them I wanted a check.

Store brands are not affected. Wal-Green's had theirs out yesterday. Only Tylenol and Motrin were pulled.

Request a check instead of a coupon. Then you'll have the money and can get a substitute product.

Also, Hylands Teething Gel and Tablets work great for my son. He's 18 months.

The only thing is, their contact form doesn't have specific instructions or guarantee that they will replace all of the items in your possession (eg I have three bottles of tylenol, two opened, and one opened bottle of zyrtec).

Plus, I can see this being a problem where people claim to have 10 of these things in their house, when they only have 1.

They also don't say when they expect to have new product out on the shelves. Neither one of those things help me when I have a teething infant and a toddler with severe seasonal allergies who had Zyrtec prescribed by his pediatrician.

I guess I will be checking the labels of off-brand products, to make sure that they are not manufactured by McNeil. And perhaps I'll continue doing that in the future, sales and coupons for the brand name items notwithstanding. Their (McNeil's) stuff has been off shelves for a month now, and they STILL haven't got it straight.
