Toys to Watch for Christmas: Beat the Rush and Buy Ahead! | CuteTitos, Wrapples, Ryan’s World, Baby Shark and more

But you can guard against that and pay attention and BEAT the crowds.   Most of these toys are IN STOCK RIGHT NOW with plenty of stock to be had and at normal retail prices.

So save yourself some holiday stress and start watching these toys NOW with intent to buy soon if you think they’ll be on your Christmas shopping list!

2.  Scruff-a-Luvs Plush Mystery Electronic Rescue Pet by Little Live

Scruff-A-Luvs were quite popular last year takes the surprise element of the Hatchimals, combined it with actually being able to do something with your toy and packaged up in heartstring-tugging packaging.

The concept behind this toy is that you purchase a bundle of matted fur.  You bathe it in warm water, dry it and brush it and, surprise!  You could have a cat dog or bunny!

This year, the Scruff-a-Luvs have an update – they’re electronic!   The new Scruff-a-Luvs Plush Mystery Electronic Rescue Pets have 30+ lifelike sounds and interactions including shivering, whimpering, happy sounds, feeding, hiccups and Heartbeat.  Your scruff-a-luv reacts to how you nurture it – just like a real rescue pet

Scruff-a-Luvs Plush Mystery Electronic Rescue Pets  retail for $39.98 but at time of posting, it’s $29.82!

3. Fingerlings and Wrapples

I’m grouping all these together and honestly, it would take me about two days to tell you about all of them.  But if your kid has said “Fingerlings”, “Untamed T-Rex”, “Wrapples” or “Wraptiles”, here’s an intro.

The original Fingerlings monkeys that were so popular a couple years ago have added more and more collectible finger pets.  Some of which are probably going to be wildly popular this year.

Now we have glitter dragons and light up Fingerlings with babies.

And last year’s Untamed Raptors and Untamed T. Rex have gotten an upgrade as well.  May I present to you the Untamed Radioactive T.Rex:

Wrapples are plush pets on slap bracelets.  Yes, slap bracelets.  Slap band tail so your Wrapple securely wraps around your wrist.  Light-up eyes to match their mood with over 50 sounds and reactions.

They giggle and purr when you pet them and of course there are multiple ones to choose from:

And don’t miss Wraptiles. If you prefer your wrist buddy to be a little less plush and a little more fierce, you have three options for a reptile on your wrist: Crocodile, Cobra or Lizard.

4. Ryan’s World Giant Mystery Egg – Series 3, Purple Egg

Ok, I will admit, I have no idea what this is or why it’s so wildly popular.  But it’s from Ryan Toys Review, “the most popular kids YouTube channel on the planet”.

Giant egg is filled with surprises including 1 of 7 new vehicles, ultra-rare figures, Build-a-Ryan Figures, special putty, limited edition squishy, stickers and tattoos.  No two are the same!

Ryan’s World Giant Mystery Egg – Series 3, Purple Egg retails for $59.99 but at time of posting it was $35.99!

Honorable Mention: Dreamworks Dragons, Hatching Toothless Interactive Baby Dragon with Sounds

Hatchimals had their hey-day a few years ago and have been in and out of popularity. I don’t expect this particular Hatchimal to be hard to find BUT it is totally cute and I have a soft spot for all things Toothless. I know my kid geeked out in the store when he saw it (and he’s never cared about Hatchimals at all).

The Dreamworks Dragons, Hatching Toothless Interactive Baby Dragon with Sounds regular retail price is listed as $59.99, but at the time of posting, it was on sale for $48.88.

Honorable Mention #2: Baby SharkIf your kid is still all about Baby Shark and you never got a chance to get these singing plushes earlier this year because they were always going out of stock, now is your chance.

Pinkfong Baby Shark Official Song Doll – Baby Shark – by WowWee is in stock on Amazon.  You can also get Daddy Shark and Mommy Shark.

Don’t want to drop $16.99 on a singing shark?  The Baby Shark song cubes are $7.99.
