Here are the free weekend activities for this weekend, the first weekend in APRIL!  Yes, APRIL!!

American Girl Stores

Most American Girl Store events cost.  But there are a few that are free.  Events vary by store. You can check out upcoming events at a store near you here.

Barnes and Noble:

Saturday, April 7th @ 11:00am
Storytime: Family is Forever
When Julia’s beloved fuzzy friend Fluffster goes missing, everyone works together to find him, and by the end it is clear that when “family and friends stick together,” everyone is happy! Join us for Storytime, and get a coupon from our Café for a grilled cheese sandwich with milk or juice for $4!

Disney Store:

Magical Egg Adventure Hunt Starts April 5th
Purchase your map and the hunt is on! Find eggs hidden in store by using character stickers to complete your map. Once your map is complete, receive one Collectible Egg. Event Fee: $5 (Fee includes purchase of collectible map and egg)

Every Saturday between April 6th and May 4th at 3pm
Marvel Universe Unites
Guests can participate in a special event to celebrate the build-up to Avengers: Endgame. Guests are encouraged to come dressed as their favorite Marvel character for this exciting storytelling adventure as a Cast Member leads them through key story beats from the Avengers – with a few surprises.

Use the store locator to find your local store and contact them about upcoming in-store events.

Home Depot:

Saturday, April 7th – 9:00am to 12:00pm
Kids’ Workshop: Birdhouse
Encourage a love for nature and ornithology in our hands-on workshop where you and your child can build a birdhouse. Your young birdwatcher can observe birds’ behaviors like nest building and provide them a safe place to eat without the need for expensive equipment. Once your birdhouse is built, your child can decorate it with paint and stickers. All Kids Workshop attendees must be accompanied by a parent or adult at all times. All kids get to keep their craft, receive a FREE certificate of achievement, a Workshop Apron, and a commemorative pin while supplies last. Children must be present at the store to participate in the workshop and receive the kit, apron and pin
