January 8, 2018, is National Bubble Bath Day!

Do you take bubble baths?  I used to soak luxuriously in baths all the time.  Then I had a kid.  And now I’m more of a “do I have time to wash my entire body in the shower this time” kind of person.

Here’s some interesting facts on Bubble Bath:

Did you know that when you use bubble bath it keeps your bath warmer?  The layer of suds on top of the water help insulate the water keeping it warmer longer!

According to the AC Nielsen Data, Mr. Bubble is the #1 brand of bath products in the United States and in 2011 it celebrated its 50th birthday.  Get your Mr. Bubble Bubble Bath from Amazon!

OR you can make your own bubble bath!  (Did you know you could do that?  I had no idea until today!)

Here’s the recipe for DIY Homemade Bubble Bath:
via RealSimple

  •  ½ cup mild liquid hand or body soap
  • 1 tablespoon sugar or honey
  • 1 egg white

Mix together all 3 ingredients in a clean container.  Pour the entire mixture under the running water.

You can also add almond oil if you have dry skin, Epsom salts if you have sore muscles or essential oils like Lavender if you want a calming bath.

So how are you celebrating national bubble bath day?
