Need plans for the weekend?  Here are the free events for this weekend.

Also, be sure to check out your local library for fun things to do.  There is great programming at our local libraries – and it’s almost always free.  Don’t forget, kids can read books for prizes with Barnes & Noble and Lifeway

American Girl Stores

Most American Girl Store events cost.  But there are a few that are free.  Events vary by store. You can check out upcoming events at a store near you here.

Barnes and Noble:

Saturday, July 14th @ 11:00am
Storytime:  The Princess and the Pit Stop

Featuring appearances by fairy tale favorites including the Tortoise and the Hare, the Frog Prince, and all of the Wicked Witches, this mash-up of race cars and royalty is a celebration of both girl power and horsepower.

Don’t forget to pick up your reading log at Barnes & Noble so you can read for a FREE book! 

Disney Store:

Saturday, July 14th @ 3:00pm
Get ready to play big as we celebrate the opening of Toy Story Land at Walt Disney World with fun games and activities! All participating Guests will receive a Toy Story Land inspired prize.

Use the store locator to find your local store and contact them about upcoming in-store events.

Lifeway

Saturday, July 14th @ 10:00am
Join us in Store every Saturday at 10 a.m. for a great story! We’ll read lots of exciting books, perfect for all ages.

Don’t forget about Lifeway’s Summer Reading program!  Kids can earn a FREE book and new Bible!

Williams-Sonoma:

It looks like Williams-Sonoma has stopped having FREE cooking classes for kids.  And at $30 per kid per class, I’m afraid they’ve priced us out!
