Need plans for the weekend?  Here are the free events for this weekend.

Also, be sure to check out your local library for fun things to do.  There is great programming at our local libraries – and it’s almost always free.  Don’t forget, kids can read books for prizes with Barnes & Noble and Lifeway

American Girl Stores

Most American Girl Store events cost.  But there are a few that are free.  Events vary by store. You can check out upcoming events at a store near you here.

Barnes and Noble:

Saturday, June 30th @ 11:00am
Storytime:  Pete the Kitty and the Groovy Playdate

Before he was the beloved Pete the Cat, he was Pete the Kitty! Join Pete on a cat-tastic playdate as he learns a lesson about sharing with his friend, Grumpy Toad. Activities to follow.

Don’t forget to pick up your reading log at Barnes & Noble so you can read for a FREE book! 

Disney Store:

Saturday, June 30th @ 3:00pm
Team up with your Incredible family together and compete against others as you play in fun games and activities inspired by Disney/Pixar’s Incredible 2. All participants will receive a free superhero mask to look the part as you adventure with the Parr family. Events take place every Saturday in June at 3pm.

Lakeshore Learning:

Kids’ Craft: Summer Fun Visor

Some locations have their crafts on Sundays.  Check your location.

Michael’s:

**Kid’s Club Crafts  include two project options – one costs $2.00 per child ages 3-8 and the second is $5.00 per child ages 6+

MAKEBREAK Red White and Blue Projects
Buy a blank base of your choice, and the supplies to decorate it will be provided.

Williams-Sonoma:

It looks like Williams-Sonoma has stopped having FREE cooking classes for kids.  And at $30 per kid per class, I’m afraid they’ve priced us out!
