Need plans for the weekend?  Here are the free events for this weekend.

Also, be sure to check out your local library for fun things to do.  There is great programming at our local libraries – and it’s almost always free.  Don’t forget, kids can read books for prizes with Barnes & Noble and Lifeway

Don’t forget about our two favorite summer activities!  Sign up for Kids Bowl Free and check out the $1 Summer Movie Express at Regal Cinemas!

American Girl Stores

Most American Girl Store events cost.  But there are a few that are free.  Events vary by store. You can check out upcoming events at a store near you here.

Barnes and Noble:

Saturday, June 23rd @ 11:00am
Storytime:  Jurassic Park Little Golden

Introduce little ones to the world of Jurassic Park. This action-packed (and age-appropriate) title is great for dinosaur lovers, both new and old. Activities to follow.

Don’t forget to pick up your reading log at Barnes & Noble so you can read for a FREE book!

Disney Store:

Saturday, June 23rd @ 3:00pm
Team up with your Incredible family together and compete against others as you play in fun games and activities inspired by Disney/Pixar’s Incredible 2. All participants will receive a free superhero mask to look the part as you adventure with the Parr family. Events take place every Saturday in June at 3pm.

Use the store locator to find your local store and contact them about upcoming in-store events.

Toys ‘R Us:

Upcoming event page on Toys ‘R Us has been taken down due to the impending closure of Toys ‘R Us stores. :(

Clearance sales are still going on at Babies ‘R Us/Toys ‘R Us stores.

Williams-Sonoma:

It looks like Williams-Sonoma has stopped having FREE cooking classes for kids.  And at $30 per kid per class, I’m afraid they’ve priced us out!
