Guys, I’m actually really sad about this! I have fond memories of going to Toys ‘R Us with my son. But it is indeed final. ALL U.S. Toys ‘R Us and Babies ‘R Us will be closing.
According to Business Insider, liquidation sales may start as early as Thursday, 3/22. I was just in our local Toys ‘R Us on Saturday and they had a sign saying they had no timetable yet as to when sales would start. But a lot could have changed in a couple days. Things seem to be moving fast. If you have any gift cards I would use them ASAP. Possibly before Thursday.
Toys ‘R Us filed bankruptcy last year and a dismal holiday season didn’t give them what they needed to recover.
