To be honest, I haven’t shopped at Winn-Dixie much since they switched over to Plenti Rewards. I find the Plenti Rewards program to be a little cumbersome. I lost a bunch of points because when I went to spend them before they expired I found out I couldn’t use my Winn-Dixie card to redeem them, I needed a Plenti card. Well, I had never gotten one. I always used my Winn-Dixie card. And in the time it took to request one and get it sent to me, my points expired. That sort of turned me off to the Plenti experience. But don’t let my Plenti experience influence yours. I should have been more aware of how it worked.
It’s been my intentions to get plugged into Plenti and start grocery shopping at Winn-Dixie again but it always seems to be that thing that’s pushed down to the bottom of the to-do list. BUT this news just might push it up the list!
I love using Ibotta, but some people find it time-consuming to take pictures of their receipt and scan all the items to get the cash back.
Winn-Dixie, Plenti and Ibotta are working to fix that!
Now, Ibotta users can link their Plenti card to their Ibotta account and offers you unlock will AUTOMATICALLY issue cash back when you shop at Winn-Dixie using your Plenti card!
No more receipt pictures and barcode scanning! Just note that you will still have to “select” and “unlock” offers in the app. If you purchase an item but haven’t selected it’s offer in the app, it will not credit.
This is a game changer!
