Wow, this is one of the biggest lists I’ve posted in a while!  There is LOTS to do this weekend!  I know we’ll be building at Home Depot and making Slime at Michael’s before hitting up Toys ‘R Us for their Ninjago event!

Here’s everything you can do this weekend:

American Girl Stores

Most American Girl Store events cost.  But there are a few that are free.  Events vary by store. You can check out upcoming events at a store near you here.

Storytime:  Pokey Little Puppy
One of the original 12 Little Golden Books, The Poky Little Puppy is the story of a curious puppy who digs holes under fences and has to go to bed without any dessert. This iconic book has delighted families for generations. Join us for Storytime, with activities to follow.

Saturday, October 7th @ 4:00pm
LEGO Make & Take featuring LEGO Ninjago
Calling all LEGO NINJAGO fans! Join us to celebrate the new movie and build a LEGO NINJAGO Movie Green Dragon Mini Model to take home with you. While supplies last.

Star Wars READS Day: Join Millions of fans on Saturday, October 7. Come by for The Escape from Jakku Story Time! This will be hosted throughout the day and at least once a week all month long.

Use the store locator to find your local store and contact them about upcoming in-store events.

Home Depot:  

Saturday, October 7th, 9:00am-12:00pm
Kids Workshop: Build a Firehouse Bank
Join our hands-on workshop and you and your child can build a cute coin bank with a fire station design. Once the bank is built, your child can decorate it with paint and stickers. All kids get to keep their project, receive a FREE certificate of achievement, a Workshop Apron, and a commemorative pin while supplies last. Children must be present at the store to participate in the workshop and receive the kit, apron and pin.

 

Lakeshore Learning:

Kids’ Craft: Changing Leaves Fall Mobile

No free kids cooking events scheduled this month – you can check out the upcoming paid events, including Haunted House Decorating on October 7th,  here.
