Sneaky Chef products are here for your Healthy After School Snacking Needs

Back to school means HUNGRY kids in the house at 3:30 every afternoon.  Or, since we homeschool, that means I have a hungry kid in the house all.day.long.   As G has gotten older, I have found it harder to find a balance when it comes to healthy snacking than it was when he was young.  He’s 8-almost-9-with-the-appetite-of-a-17-year-old.  And not only is his appetite on par with a 17 year old, his eating habits, if left to his own devices, would consist of chips, cookies, ice cream, and candy bars.  Oy!

Well, Sneaky Chef wants to help you with your kids’ snacking needs AND help them get the healthy stuff they need.  (But, shh!  You don’t have to tell them about the second part, because it is Sneaky Chef, after all!)

The lunchbox classic PB&J has gotten a (nut-free + soy-free + added veggie) makeover just in time for back-to-school this year!

The Sneaky Chef – famous for “sneaking in the good stuff” with kids’ favorite foods – has introduced a new line of jellies that not only taste great, but also sneak in the VEGGIES!

Sneaky Chef Fruit Spreads sneak the good stuff in to exciting new fruit spreads in fun flavors never seen before in the jelly aisle like Cherry Vanilla Pop, Blue Razz Berry, Caramel Apple and Watermelon Slice as well as time-honored favorites Grape-licious, Strawberry Patch and Red Razz Berry.  And the best part – each jar of Sneaky Chef Fruit Spread contains three hidden veggies – carrot, beet and sweet potato.

The new fruit spreads pair perfectly with another of the Sneaky Chef’s nutritious and delicious products, award-winning Sneaky Chef No-Nut Butter!   Sneaky Chef No-Nut Butter is a nut-butter alternative made from naturally sweet and “nutty” tasting golden peas (with yes, more veggie protein!), but without a trace of peanuts, tree nuts, seeds, or soy.  Available in Creamy and Chocolate (which has more protein and half the sugar of other chocolate spreads!), Sneaky Chef No-Nut Butter is so good everyone will love it allergies or not.

Thanks to Sneaky Chef, we got to try out some of their delicious products!  Obviously, these items are great for the traditional PB&J but I wanted to think outside of the lunch box and show how you can use Sneaky Chef products for delicious snacks for when the kids get home from school and say “I’m hungry!”

The Chocolate No-nut Butter is G’s favorite.  Chocolate is his love-language.  Both the Chocolate and Regular No-Nut Butter (with hidden golden peas!) are great on graham crackers!  This was G’s favorite pairing – Chocolate No-Nut Butter on Graham Crackers.

The Caramel Apple Fruit Spread with three hidden veggies – beets, carrots, and sweet potato – was DELICIOUS on apple slices!   It was my favorite pairing.  No surprise here, the Chocolate No-Nut Butter was G’s choice on apples also.

You can even use Sneaky Chef for breakfast!  No-nut butter and Caramel Apple Fruit Spread were both great choices on an English muffin, separately AND together!

A big thanks to The Sneaky Chef for letting us try their products!  All opinions are my own.  All G’s opinions are his own too.
