Here are the free weekend activities for Easter weekend!

American Girl Stores

Most American Girl Store events cost.  But there are a few that are free.  You can check out upcoming events at a store near you here.

Babies ‘R Us:

Saturday, May 6th, 10:00am-11:00am
Ready, Set, Registry Event  Here’s your chance to create or update your registry with ease. You’ll take a tour of the store with a Personal Registry Partner, test drive everything you’ll need and get answers to all your questions. Plus, meet & mingle with other parents-to-be. Enjoy games, giveaways and raffles, too! Reservations preferred, but walk-ins are always welcome. Our Ready Set Registry events are held the first Saturday of every month. So if you can’t make it to this one, join us at the next one instead!

Barnes and Noble:

Saturday, May 6th @ 11:00am
Storytime: Dragons Love Tacos The Sequel
It has just been discovered that there are no more tacos left anywhere in the world. This is a huge problem because, as you know, dragons love tacos. Join us as we read the hilarious companion to the bestselling phenomenon, with activities to follow.

Kid’s Workshop: Build a Flowerpot
Join our hands-on workshop where you and your child can build a flower pot to hold spring flowers to keep or give to Mom. Once the project is complete, your child can paint their project to personalize it. o All kids get to keep their project, receive a FREE certificate of achievement, a Workshop Apron, and a commemorative pin while supplies last. o Children must be present at the store to participate in the workshop and receive the kit, apron and pin.

Lakeshore Learning:

Kids’ Craft: Flowerpots

Some locations have their crafts on Sundays.  Check your location.

Lowe’s: 

Lowe’s has canceled their Build and Grow program

Baking for Mom: Hey Kids! Mother’s Day is right around the corner and we’re celebrating with a fun class all about baking! We’ll teach you to bake like a pro and create a dessert that is perfect for mom!
