Bug just turned 8 and he’s pretty good with K’Nex – he’s had a lot of practice with LEGOs. But this one gave us some trouble. We had it almost completely done but it wasn’t going quite right so we had to disassemble and start from the beginning. The set is labeled for ages 7 and up and I feel like that is off a little. Bug is 8 and he struggled – and he has a bit more patience with these type things that the average 8 year old. I couldn’t see many 7 year olds doing these on their own, let alone have the patience to stick this out. It took hours.
Once it was together it was fun. The battery powered motor swings the arm around which in turns sends the car zooming around the track. Bug is enjoying it.
