Bug just turned 8 and he’s pretty good with K’Nex – he’s had a lot of practice with LEGOs. There were a couple times he needed help snapping a piece in that was giving him a little trouble, but other than that, he did it all himself. The sets are for ages 8 and up and I feel like that is pretty spot on. If a child has zero experience with building sets, following picture instructions, or doesn’t like to build with small pieces then it might not be the best choice. But any builder that also likes dart guns should love this! Of all the things we’ve put together, these were the most fun to play with when we were finished.
Like I said, K-Force sets should be bought and given in pairs. Because what’s the fun of shooting if the other person can’t shoot back? But also because you can download instructions that show you how to combine the two sets (Mini Cross and K-10V) together into one larger gun!
