Major Recall: Frozen Vegetables with Sell by Dates April 2016 to April 2018

recall

Guys, this is a pretty major recall.  Have you seen it?  It covers a variety of frozen foods by several brands with sell by dates ranging from April 26, 2016 to April 26, 2018.  That’s TWO YEARS.  And it also means that you’ve probably eaten recalled products, which is terrifying too.

A factory with CRF Frozen Foods, a company which supplies MANY brands, including well-known brands like Trader Joe’s, McCain, Safeway, Great Value, Kirkland, Panda Express, and many others, made “products (which) have the potential to be contaminated with Listeria,” according to a recall notice from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.

Years, people.  Years.  This was not an isolated event.  You can see the full LONG list of hundreds of potentially affected items here.   How does contamination span years is what I want to know??

Check your freezers!  Better be safe than sorry.   You can return your recalled products to the store for a refund or just throw it away.
